Only stayed one night and after arriving at 2 a.m. was surprised to find a warm friendly reception desk rep (she offered a later check out and gave us warm cookies). Though the hotel is a bit older the comfortable bed, linens and very clean room made up for it! Plus our standard room had a view of the boats and beach strip. Very quaint and a great deal (& location) for Monterey. HIghly recommended and wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the microbrew pub on premise.
