Drove to Vegas for Beatles LOVE show. Wanted to stay somewhere off the strip but nearby, so we could get a nicer hotel for a lower price. Stayed two nights at South Point. Loved everything about it. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet (couldn't hear anyone else). South Point is huge. There is TONS to do if you're not into gambling -- bowling alley, movie theater, restaurants, STEAK & SHAKE, spa, salon, huge swimming pool area, etc. Off the strip, so it's more low key, but close enough you can drive there real quick. Free Valet Parking. They also give you a coupon book at check in, which gives free lunch buffet (yummy!), free bowling, desserts, drinks and more. Be sure to book online through Travelocity -- their price is cheaper than booking through the hotel!
