My elderly mother and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf for 4 nights during the summer of 2010. The hotel was very clean & comfortable and its location was perfect for us. Mom couldn't walk long distances so the short walk to Fishermans Wharf, shops, restaurants and the tour bus departure points was a perfect fit for us. The restaurant in the lobby was an added bonus; I was able to bring a quick meal to the room when mom was not up to going out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a "value for money" trip to SFO. On my next visit I would catch a cab to and from the airport. The shuttle service we used got us to the airport after our flight had left!!!! Same price.
