The hotel was modern but charming. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff attentive. The piano bar or roof top terrace was a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant and it was excellent. The hotel is situated right near a metro stop (Barcelona metro is very user friendly) and only a 20 minute (very safe) walk to the Rambla. We enjoyed not being directly on the frenzy of the Rambla. We spent a considerable amount of time online trying to find a hotel and we were extremely pleased with our choice!
