This was a great hotel. It was in a good location--in a safe neighborhood and within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Also, it was conveniently located to metro stops on the blue/orange and red lines. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable (i.e., nice sheets and plenty of pillows). We had a nice view overlooking the street. Our room was on the small side, but since we were not in it very much, it was not a big deal. The hotel had a nice balance--historical feel, but did not feel run down. The only issue we had was that the high speed internet was not working very well during the first few days of our stay. However, it was corrected by the hotel. We ate in the hotel's restaurant for breakfast and it was very good. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely stay there again on our next trip to D.C.
