This is the ideal hotel for someone coming to Toronto for meetings. It is a first class business hotel with all of the amenities, the crisp could-be-anywhere furnishings and decor, and is enormous so always has a crowded lobby and bustle. The other benefit of its sze is that they can nearly always accommodate you at a fair price if you need a room on short notice. You can join the PATH system of underground shopping corridors from the hotel, and avoid the weather on your way downtown to Bay Street office blocks. Above ground, it is a short walk to the University of Toronto, Nathan Phillips Square, and the theater district in the West End. Also, it overlooks the City Hall and the U.S. Consulate General.
