The hotel was centrally located and attached to the PATH system (HUGE underground mall) which made it easy to get around in single digit temperatures without getting cold. The subway station was 1 block away which made it very easy to get around to places farther away. Of note, it is $10 all you can ride on the subways and buses on the weekend - and allows up to 3 children to accompany for FREE. This made exploring Toronto cheap and easy. There is an indoor, outdoor pool which allowed the kids to swim even in single digit temps. It was surreal to see them throwing snowballs at each other while swimming. Hotel gym had plenty of offerings too. Ice skating rink directly across from hotel. There is a hot food truck parked across the street that has hot dogs, vege burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and hamburgers 24 hours a day. Lots of options also in the food court just underground. No free internet, but a small but adequate bunch of free computers in the lobby for use. The only problem I had is when my room phone was out, I had to go to the house phone near the elevator twice and then to the front desk to get it working so I could call my husband - 45 minutes! Besides that, it was great. In fact, to go back to the airport, it cost us only $3 a person on the weekday to take the close subway which saved so much money returning as it cost 20 times that when we arrived. Easy and close to this hotel make this a definite for return. Would definitely stay there again.
