Magnificent! The views were amazing and so was the private beach and pools. The pools are open 24 hours. They have a hot tub that overlooks the ocean from the top of the cliff. Our room was upgraded to a “partial ocean view” which was actually a few of the ocean on the west side of the hotel over the golf course. We called for extra towels and pillows and the concierge called to make sure we got what we needed. It is not that far from the airport in San Juan but traffic is so bad it takes forever to get there. It is about 8 miles from the rainforest. The down points were they charge 20 a day to go into the water park which if you don’t have kids skip it they charge for parking #40go with valet because the parking is far away and you have to hike up hill to get to the resort#41 and the food is WAY OVER PRICED!!!!! Not only is the food way overpriced but it isn’t that good. We ate at Blossoms which is a Japanese restaurant and it was horrible. There is a small restaurant near the casino that has okay food but it is still overpriced. The casino doesn’t open to 4 p.m. which could be a plus or a negative depending on if you like to gamble or not.
