This hotel was beautiful & the cleanest place I have ever stayed! There is always someone cleaning every inch of this place which made me feel very comfortable. The beach is big & never too crowded, although the waves were pretty rough so not too many people in the water. The sun is very hot but there is always a cool breeze - at night it can get pretty windy so bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. The hotel is pretty laid back, no real night life, but there is plenty of nightlife nearby. The Asian & Italian restaurants were fantastic, buffet was pretty good for a buffet & La Concha, which was open for breakfast & lunch was pretty much the same food as the buffet but in a nicer atmosphere & served by a waiter. There is also a pizza bar, a hamburgers, hotdogs & nachos stand & a deli that serves sandwiches & icecream that is to die for! The pools, although cold, were beautiful & emaculate. The main pool had some games & music during the day & the farther pool had an awesome swim up bar with seats in or out of the pool but the music there was pretty lame. Overall this hotel is more for a respectable crowd - not wild partiers - but the bartenders will make your drink as strong as you like & they enjoy making fancy signiture drinks & shots. Otherwise the music in the bars at night will put you right to sleep which was ok because we'd rather get up early & enjoy more time in the sun. I would definatly go back to this hotel again! Oh and you have to pay to use the gym which is bullsh*t but whatever.
