Save your money, this hotel gets a D! My husband and I went for a company function ( 1. Salad was never served. 2.We had to serve ourselves instead of being served at the table. 3. Coffee and tea were not offered with desert. 4. The "breading pudding" was horrible, more like dough.) We got a sitter and reserved a room so that we could enjoy a night out. BIG MISTAKE!
While checking in, the receptionist blurted out her speech so quickly that we felt assaulted by the information. None of it registered because she didn't take the time to be polite. She gave me a card that she had hand written in her 3rd grade penmanship. If you claim to be this mirage of a hotel, you need to pay attention to how your staff greets and interacts with guests.
After the company dinner we went to Ibiza, a joke of a club. The DJ packed up and left for the night at *. On a Friday night??!! The DJ and bouncer both told us they were sorry but that some "famous" guest on the 4th floor requested quiet and they were told by the hotel manager to pack up their equipment. So we went back down to the lobby, after paying for overpriced drinks, only to be disappointed again as the salsa music (outdated and mediocre music at that) was just ending. Now midnight, we were bored, frustrated and disappointed.
In the morning, we wake up to find out that there is no complementary breakfast as I had been told when I made the reservation. One big fat disappointment after another at this place!
When we checked out, we voiced these concerns to the receptionist only for her to discount us. She tried to give us a free breakfast, but after this horrible experience, I would rather check out and pay for my own breakfast at a restaurant where I know I will be served in a timely manner.
