We stayed here one night thinking that since we had a great experience at another Shilo Inn this would be a good bet. That wasn't quite the case with this location. It was like entering a time warp. We arrived in the late evening. The front desk clerk was nice and the check in was easy. After checking in we were approached by a panhandler in the parking lot while unpacking our car. It would be good if the hotel had more of a security presence. This Shilo location still uses regular keys, not card keys. The hallways are dark and dingy looking. There is no elevator so be prepared to haul your bags up the stairs if your room is on the second floor. The hotel room door did not have a latch lock which did not leave us with a good sense of security. We had a room with two queen beds and it was a little cramped but clean. The room, like the hallways was dark and decorated like something out of the 1970's. The hotel had advertised that they had microwave ovens and refrigerators in the rooms. Our room had neither, although there was space for a mini-fridge next to the t.v..On our way out to get something to eat we stopped at the front desk to inquire about the refrigerator. The clerk explained that only the rooms with a king size bed had enough space for a refrigerator since they use full size refrigerators at this hotel. The continental breakfast was a positive as far as the selection of items, but the eating area consists of two small tables in the lobby. It would be more comfortable to take the food back to your room.
