I had a class to take in Monterey and I needed an inexpensive place to stay. The motel was fine. When I first checked in I was assigned a room that reeked of smoke, but the manager quickly changed me to a room that smelled much better. I spent the next day walking around all day but was disappointed that the hot tub was not available for a soak at the end of a long day. The breakfast was limited to sweetrolls, toast ,orange juice and coffee so I just had it one day.
