We usually stay at the Best Western across the street, but wanted to try the Doubletree because it was only $* more to stay in a "4 star" hotel and plus we love the cookies. We had an unexpected surprise that there was ONLY VALET Parking for $* PER NIGHT so we decided to park our car in a parking garage just down the street for $* total for the 3 nights. We went into the hotel and the staff was somewhat nice but I think that the first impression should be that they are happy that you are coming into the hotel, not annoyed. Although the staff at night was very nice. They were accomidating to our requests of getting a non smoking room instead of a smoking room that I mistakenly booked. The restaurant there is WAY OVER PRICED for breakfast, and we found that we could go to Panera Bread and get Bagels and coffee instead for the same price of one breakfast platter. We will be going back to Best Western where they provide for $* less, continental breakfast, parking at your hotel, and very friendly attitudes.
