Paper thin walls

Just got back from a 2-night stay, and I've never written a negative hotel review, but feel compelled. On the plus side, the price was right and it's an easy walk to Wickenden st., College Hill etc. Far, far outweighing these positives, however, was the fact that the hotel walls do not provide even the minimum amount of privacy that reasonable people expect. You can hear everything your neighbor says in a normal speaking voice, and we did, all night long. We heard their radio, their tv, their conversations, their...everything. Several minor problems also contributed to the atmosphere of cheapness: broken fan in bathroom, broken light, broken "sleep number" bed. We're not picky people who could normally deal with those things, but the awkwardness of our neighbors' noises were intolerable, and I imagine this would be a major concern for many families.
