This hotel could be so much more

we stayed at this hotel ideally located one half mile from Busch Gardens last weekend. If you have stayed there previously you will be glad to know the bathrooms have been updated. The actual rooms, while fairly clean, need a desperate update. The main thing going for this hotel is the pool and bar complex. Who doesnt want a nice cocktail in the hot tub after a day at the park, The food was good and the twilight atmosphere very relaxing. Years ago the free breakfast was a real deal. Now you can make a waffle or have toast, and that is it. Now more made to order omlets or bagels. The day of checkout we asked for and were granted a 1:00 pm departure which was very accomodating. Thinking we could order a drink, swim, and have lunch at the bar..THINK AGAIN!!! Their biggest money maker was not even open until the evening. Here is a hotel in a perfect location, a great pool and bar, and they are not even operating close to their potential. I wish i had the money to invest in their makeover.
