We were in NB to decide whether we were going to move there. We simply wanted a quiet and comfortable place to sleep and shower up before heading back out to look around. We got that, no more and no less. This is a basic, no-frills place to get some rest and not a destination in itself. The location was near the main attractions for most tourists. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. There was even a "feather-like" comforter which was cozy and soft. Nice touch!
The wireless service had a rather low signal, depending on the router traffic, but it was handy and better than nothing.
Breakfast was so-so, mainly cereal, juice/coffee, pastries and fruits. However, there was a wafflemaker which was sort of fun. I enjoyed that, while my husband liked the little oranges and apples that fit nicely in a pocket for snacking later.
The indoor pool was ice-cold-- guess "indoor" isn't the same as "heated", brrr!! Being close to much better swimming facilities (in season), this is a small inconvenience for most folks but for the traveler who just wants to swim a few laps to unwind after a long drive, a heated pool would be appreciated all year round.
But as I said, we just wanted a place to get a good night's sleep, and this place delivered all that and a cup of coffee-- without the frills and at a decent price.
We would probably stay here again.
