My boyfriend took me to Atlantic City and New York last minute a few weeks ago for a surprise getaway. Because we weren't going to stay in the hotel for more then two nights, because we only had then weekend for the trip andwe were going to be out most of th time on our trip, we decided to just get something cheap. Bad idea... When we first arrived we were happy with the location because it was on the beach and not far from the city. The girl at the front desk was very nice, but she was new kept messing up when she was trying to run our credit card. This was not a problem. Then problem was when she tried to call someone to help her we had to wait 10 minutes for them to show up. The room was decent, but the bathroom was very small. After one night we went up to New York for a day, and when we returned that evening our room had not been cleaned. Unbelievable. We went down to the restaurant that night to see if it was still open (it had been closed the first night), and sadly it was. It was sooo overpriced, and I stupidly ordered sushi. It was like eating fish-flavored used bubble gum. Not to mention that the staff had their noses so high in the air that I could bearly control reminding them what a bad hotel they worked in, and just because the menu was rediculously expensive, didn't mean they were special. Finally the day of our check out no one was at the front decsk to help us. We waited, and finally left. NEVER STAY HERE! Pay a little extra and go somewhere else.
