Since it was my first visit to Montreal, this hotel choice was solely made off what i read on this site. It was a lucky choice and definately in the top 10 of all my hotel stays. When you arrive you are able to park right at the curb for 20 minutes to get unloaded and checked-in. The staff is extremely helpful and outgoing and knowledgeable. They offer $* a night parking through the hotel but the girl at the counter gave us a great tip to save some money. You can park just a 5 minute walk down the street at the Montreal Seminary College for just $* a night in a large parking lot (its not guarded and valet but definatly a money saver). The rooms are nicely appointed with your standard items along with bathrobes. Wireless access is available for $* a day or you can use a desktop in the hallway that is connected and free. Breakfast is served from 7am-10am and is definatey not to be missed, There are newspapers for the taking and all the breakfast you can eat, but it is self service so don't expect to be waited on. The hotel was about 2 blocks to the nearest metro station and definately the best way to get around. 3 day metro passes cost $* each. We used the car only to go upto Mount Royal which is not served by metro and a little too far to walk from the hotel. Unless you are super super picky and need someone to wait on you hand and feet you should be more than happy with this hotel and its wonderful staff and world class service.
