I decided to head to Vegas for New Year's Eve on Dec 29th.
This hotel is set up as an extended stay hotel - it has a kitchen and maid service is once per week. The furnishings are older, but everything was very clean. Front desk staff was friendly and comperable with $*night hotels in other cities. Across the street is the Las Vegas Outlet mall if you want to do some shopping there.
Because this is a cheaper extended stay hotel, there were lots of families staying there that didn't look like they were on vacation. On the good side, the hallways smelled fantastic at meal times. On the bad side, the fire alarm was tripped during breakfast one morning. The fire alarm is very loud - it was painful.
All in all I would stay here again if I had troulbe finding accomodations at a strip hotel.
