The Belvedere Hotel is truly a remarkable place to stay while in NYC. The staff are not only friendly, polite, and professional but are also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. It was very rare NOT to be greeted when walking in or out of the Hotel. I have stayed in many NYC hotels; I was really impressed by the Belvedere and its staff!
The room we stayed in was a "2 Doubles Deluxe Room " with a small kitchenette. It was clean and roomy enough for three adults. There are only two elevators and it can be cramped at times; along with a little wait. The WIFI service was another matter. It is an extra charge, and I could not get a good signal unless I was close to the door to the room. We did not eat at the hotel dining area. There are numerous coffee shops, delis, and little stores nearby to pick something up on the go(your near Times Square so prices are geared towards the tourist). Everything is within walking distance or short cab ride from the hotel. I was impressed with the location overall.
The overall experience of the hotel and its location have happily convinced us that we will be back to the Belvedere Hotel in the near future! The WIFI issue is something they need to work on, but it did not "ruin" the trip. We will be back to stay again!
