A well pointed room, very comfortable bed, and a fairly quiet hall provided a good environment. The staff was eager to help, immediately dropping conversations among themselves to attend to customers' needs, sometimes with a bit of pleasant humor. You have to learn to push light switches 3 times to get full lighting (and turn on the floor lamp with a switch near the door), as well as use a coffee cup instead of a coffee pot for in-room coffee making. The underground passages connect not only to the Palais de Congres (convention center) but to a rather large food court that even includes a full sized IGA grocery, if you want to stock up on anything, as well as a good wine store, close to excellent coffee at a Coffee Depot.
