Stayed at Hyatt Regency for 2 nights and the stay was great. Had a little of trouble finding the ""entrance"" of the hotel and then had to go through the food court. Doing that at night when all the stores were closed is scary. The hotel is very clean and the bed and pillow were very comfortable. Had good channels on TV. The staff were extremely nice and helpful -- especially this guy X-- very helpful and made lots of good recommendations. The reception/check in staff are more helpful than the so-called concierge though. There's no sign that says it's the concierge, you just sort of guess . . . The location is great. Very close to Chinatown and Old Port but without being in the middle of it. Had a starbucks and Dairy Queen right outside the hotel. The mall below the hotel has a convenience store and a food court. There's also at least two restaurants attached as well. One of the restaurants open late so you don't have to go hungry after a long day out. At Place Des Arts metro station is connected underground so convenient but it's quite a walk. But that's typical in Montreal. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in my future Montreal visits.
