Live a couple hours away, had a speaking engagement at a dinner. Decided to stay over but everything in town booked. Good thing, everything in town is north of $*. a night - stupid for just a bed for the night. This place is tucked away just a few blocks (but not really walkable) from downtown Napa, had rooms (cabins actually) and was around $*. and welcomed Casey the Pound Spaniel for only a $*. fee.
Is really nothing but a room, 1950s vintage. Seems to be a family project (they live next door). Young woman at desk shocked us with honesty. We hadn't noticed that they hit our card for a second charge (not noticing that we pre-paid through Travel online). She called our room and told us, credited our card and was very apologetic.
Not a place we would stay on a vacation but perfect for a place to stay over-night.
