Discovered we should have gone elsewhere

The property conveniently located, but oh goodness. The pictures look NOTHING like the actual rooms. We had no weather stripping under the door, so had it been warmer, I don't think the bugs would have even had to duck to get in. Cobwebs hanging off lamp and an Indiana Jones situation behind the TV. The bed has given us back conditions that may be permanent, and coming in, we didn't know if we really wanted to sleep between the sheets. We had one thin little pillow apiece. The phone didn't work. The bathroom floor was dirty. There was one lamp and a prison-like florescent in the ceiling. No iron, but a fridge that smelled a bit like death, and forget tissues or anything like that for amenities. Had we not pre-paid, we would not have stayed. The curtains wouldn't close all the way, and you're on the one level, and we kept hearing things and wondering what might be happening to our car in the parking lot. Wish we would have paid more to stay somewhere a little better. Staff was friendly, and I'm sorry to give such a negative review, but we wish we'd have been warned a little better.
