We just returned from this hotel after a two night stay and we are disaapointed. The hotel is OLD, and in serious need of an uplift. The pool was very dirty and the water seems like it has not been changed since the 80's, it was gross to say the least. The rooms are outdated, with a less than appealing washroom. The equivalent of a Super 8 motel. On a good note, the staff is friendly, the rooms are quiet you can't hear your neighbours, the linen on the bed is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great.
I found a dirty pair of socks by my bed the second night, and they weren't mine or my husband's.
For non-Quebec resident's beware. There is a lot of crime in Montreal. We had our windows smashed and car emptied while taking a walk in old Montreal, after paying $* for parking. Police said it was common. Coincidence or not, we were the only non-Quebec plates in the lot.
