The front desk was friendly at check-in. Unfortunately we arrived at 8:15 am and forgot to request an early check-in, but they were courteous and suggested we check back around noon.
The bell hop was very friendly, courteous and helpful. He was quick to bring up our bags after storing them for us until our room was ready.
Room service was quick when we asked for towels to wipe up the floors after showering. The shower and bathroom walls are glass and the rubber seals are not the best quality so the floors had to be mopped each time we showered. They advised they were aware of the problem and were trying to get it resolved, but there was nothing they could do as switching rooms wasn't going to solve the problem.
We called down for a wake up call the first afternoon, but they didn't call. The next two days they did call us on time, but after the first day we set our phone alarms just to be safe.
The lobby and living room area of the hotel were beautiful, modern and clean. The restaurant MOMO was also very nice and chic.
I don't think we could've asked for a better location. We were within walking distance to Vondelpark, Museumplein, and Leidseplein. And the Canal Bus and Canal Hopper stops were right across the street.
Overall, I'd give the hotel an 8.5 out of 10.
