My husband and I and several of our friends and family have stayed at this hotel for a number of years, several times a year. The area is quiet, immaculate, scenic. There is a lot to do for a variety of ages. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and caters to your every need.
The saloon is a blast and moderate live entertainment is provided on the weekends.
This hotel is very close to the highway, but not so close that you hear every truck. The Tonto hatchery is very interesting and within a short drive or a good hike. The creek and surrounding forest is a photgraphers dream come true with lots of animals, fish, birds.
The food is pretty good, but for the area it is excellent. Keep in mind, this is a small town atmosphere and 'big city' luxuries are just not needed!
Although not every visit has been perfect, and won't be as long as humans manage the place, but if you call attention to your concerns, they are immediately addressed to your satisfaction. That in itself speaks volumes.
Yes, they are a time-share and a public hotel, and will try to sell you a membership, but all you have to say is no and that is the end of it. No pressure....
We love Kohls!
