Actually, a rather large hotel in several buildings along a wonderful landscape of woods and ponds with sculptures, walking paths, and other lovely amenities. My room had a fireplace and a loft and was perfect for us (me, my SO, and children). Quiet. Very Quiet. Amazingly clean. Rooms furnished in a lovely shaker style. Good internet access. Breakfast at the Red Geranium was not free, but amazing. The town is lovely. This is not the place for those wanting concerts, discotheques, or night clubs. But it is a wonderful get-away for those wanting small town ambiance with art galleries, coffeehouses, interesting shops, more interesting historical sights (including the well preserved remnants of both the Harmonist and Owenite Utopian settlements), and lots more. Nearby are lovely state parks. You are not from Bloomington, Indiana, and it's unique atmosphere with good restaurants, interesting architecture, and the like. Not far from Evansville, KY.
The staff at the hotel were wonderful and helped in everything from adjusting the room temperature and bringing more towels to giving their insights into things to do within walking distance.
The room was remarkably clean and very nicely furnished. Extremely quiet. With windows open the outside was quite all night.
