Having stayed in Chicago before, I was well aware that hotel rooms tend to be very expensive, and very small. This was neither. Our room rate was just over $ per night, and this room was closer to being an apartment than a hotel room. The room has a full kitchen, living room, seperate bedroom, and very large bathroom. I have stayed at Residence Inn's before, and was very pleased, but wasn't sure if being in downtown Chicago, if this would be as spacious as ones in other cities. Simple answer; yes, it is. This room was probably the bestvalue that I have ever seen from a hotel, all things considered. They also offer a free breakfast buffet, as well as snacks in the evening: a la chicken wings, etc. They have computers with high speed internet available for free use in the lobby. The pool is small, but there is a good reason for that; it is indoors, on the 27th floor. believe me when i tell you that swimming with that view is not to be missed. I could go on about this hotel, but the bottom line is, if you stay here, you will be extremely glad that you did.
