Stay away from the Tahoe Hacienda Inn, 3820 Lake Tahoe Blvd, Lake Tahoe CA!! The room I was in had the following deficiencies: 1) light bulb burned out (or not there) in fixture above desk, 2) 1 of the 2 light bulbs in bathroom burned out, 3) the lamp shades on both sides of the bed were filthy and torn, 4) in the bathroom there were 2 "ends" to a towel rack, but no towel bar in between them (and the "bath towels" provided were more like large hand towels), 5) bed was old, hard and uncomfortable, 6) carpet - dark green- was dirty & really needed shampooing, 7) shower door coming off of it's hinge. This motel, like many in the area, is a 1950/60's property. The property looks "rustic" from the outside as it has old pine trees throughout the parking area, but the rooms have just been let go. Apparently no upkeep. You can find much better accomodations for the same price or not much more in this area of South Lake Tahoe. You would be wise to do so.
