I am not hard to please

This was our 3rd hotel in Anchorage during the past week. I have to say it was the best out of the 3, but that is not saying much. We were told it was the best small hotel in Anchorage, WRONG! The location is ok if you don't mind it being on the corner of a very busy street with road noise on both sides. If you don't mind the smell of the restaurant downstairs all night, then I guess it is OK. The rooms were ok but nothing special. We get the impression that the Anchorage Hotels make the money during the summer and are just open in the winter to be open. The only good experience we had in Anchorage hotels were last summer at the smallest hotel in town, to bad it was full this time.
