Please check this place out with the better business bureau before you go. It is a scam. We were charged for our whole trip, plus an 18% gratuity on the whole package before we even checked in. Our room was dirty, hot, and is very bad disrepair, as was the rest of the inn. The pool and hot tub are flithy, the grounds poorly kept. Very few of the pictures posted on the website are actually pictures of the inn. \nWe checked out due to the fact that our room was uninhabitable and the food disgusting. The woman at the front desk claimed she couldn't give us our money back. She gave us a number to call to talk to the manager. I had a bad feeling, but we had a hungry two year old with us. \nWell, needless to say, no one has returned my phone calls. I filed a report with the better business bureau, and the company has refused to respond. \n \nOur room was very dirty, there were cheerios on the floor and old toiletries from previous inhabitiants. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom smelled bad, and there were holes in the plaster board. None of the windows opened, and the "air conditioner" was a freestanding unit that needed a bucket emptied every few hours to keep it running. The tennis court is overgrown with weeds, the hot tub black with slime and mold, and the sandy beach by the river that they advertise does not exist. Please beware of this place.
