The address:Pizzeria / Grill Room CleopatraVlasmarkt 2MiddlesbroughTel: 0118-633747Opening hours * Open every day from 16.00 to 03.00 hours. * Friday / Saturday until 05.00. * Monday closed. * Pizza Kitchen open until 24.00 hours.Parking:At the restaurant itself you can not park. But a further 200 meters you have a fairly large parking lot where your car will do. Just be careful that you do not do on Thursday, because it is late night shopping in Middelburg and that place is 9 times out of 10 full. Also pay attention since it’s paid parking because they are quite strict in the city when it comes to them. After 9 hours, of course free. The restaurantThe restaurant is really a small, small thing. When you come right then left behind the counter. You can sit at the counter on stools, but you can also walk a little further and just sit at a table. There may be approximately about 20 places, so on a busy evening you have a problem I think, also because of the quite small and so you have a bit of a disappointment is to bash each other with chairs. We were there at that time there were 5 other people.ServiceThe service was very good. There was a man who helped us. Another was in the kitchen and was sometimes the way to bring away orders. The man received us kindly and patiently waited until we knew what we wanted to eat. After ordering we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes and then came the first plate on the table. So really we did not have long to wait. Meanwhile, the man also ask whether it tasted or that a few extras to come.FoodThey have various types of meat.Such as: * = Pork buns (kebab / shaslick), mini-dishes (Kebab / shaslick), special meals (spare-ribs/schnitzel/shoarma). * = Lamb sandwich (kebab / Egyptian shaslick), mini-dishes (Kebab / egygptische shaslick), special dishes (Kebab / shaslick / lamb chops). * = Beef sandwiches (Egyptian kebab), mini-dishes (Egyptian kebab), special meals (especially Egyptian kebab) and Egyptian beverages. * = Chicken sandwiches (chicken / kipshoarma / chicken burgers), mini-dishes (Chicken / kipshoarma), special meals (kipshoarma / chicken burgers). Then you also have Italian food. Such as: * Many different pizzas (margherita / Napolitana / tonno / cleopatra / pepperoni, etc.). * Calzone (with tomato, cheese, tuna, ham e.d.). * Pasta (Bolognese / lasagna). * Salads (Tzatziki / shrimp salad / tuna salad / mini-dish). You can also order sandwiches with cheese, pineapple, ham or all together. A healthy citizen or hamburger. And of course something to drink, such as coffee, cappuccino, various soft drinks and orange juice.PricesI think the prices will be subtle. We had a great kebab with 2 extra pita, kebab and a dish ordered extra fries and much to drink and we spend about 23 euro. The prices are sofairly average, with one farmer can kebab perhaps just a few cents more expensive or cheaper than the otherToiletThere is also a toilet, and one even a little, but he looks and smells clean and fresh. This is not really a toilet for disabled, it's small and colic.Payment OptionAs far as I could see you can only pay with cash here.My opinion:A nice little thing where you can enjoy good food for a nice price. The food we had already tasted delicious and it tasted like us very well. The fries were crispy, not too dark and not so greasy fried. And the kebab was delicious, not too hot. We were full of good food and went back home satisfied.
AddressThe New PeacockFri Landstraat 39-414337EB Middlesbroughtel / fax 0118-615229mobile. 06-53104238Opening hoursMonday to Sunday 12.00 until 22.00 hoursThe restaurantThis restaurant is a Chinese / Indian restaurant. Here you can enjoy dining out or dinner in, in other words, but you can also pick up your food at the takeaway counter. This restaurant is in a mall, so if you enter the mall, you see a few big windows and that's where the restaurant is located. It's a small restaurant with an entrance, but when trough the front door, you can go two ways. The restaurant side you are about 40 to 50 people can sit in, at least if you want to dine and the side where you can collect the food. The word separated by a wall so nobody has problems with each other. Back down are the toilets and also chairs the bar where the drinks are made, you can pick and takeaway where you can pay the bill.ParkingThere is plenty of parking at the restaurant. There are two parking lots next to the mall. One left and one right before the restaurant during the evening hours and it very quiet, so all you have place to park. Parking is free, but do you see the car drop, because on the left side of the mall parking is free, but on the other hand, the right side of the mall, there is a blue zone and there you can only park with a parking ticket.ServiceWe found it very good. But we were right assigned a table and drink the first thing we observed was of the house. Right after they came up with the menus, which we could see the ease and now the signs were put down. The food came very quickly thereafter. We had just a bit longer to wait for the son of fries, but we have waited patiently, because the food was not cold, because they were on hot gadgets. In between there was also asked if everything was okay and whether we wanted another drink, etc. Yes, they were nice and polite and fast.DisabledDisabled people are also very good inside here in this restaurant. You may well come in the mall, because there is a hill to the front door and the rest is free of obstacles. The restaurant where you can enter. They'll take some seats on the side should do, but you can and come along. The toilet will be a bit cramped, because they only have a normal toilet.ToiletThe toilet looked clean and fresh. There is little air freshener hanging in the toilet pots and there is also a spray, so you can enjoy a little spray afterwards.PaymentThis is slightly less, because you can only pay cash at the dinner ready at the pickup side. So first stop by the ATM to get some money and then eat.PricesThe prices are about the same or like any other chinese / indian restaurant. I found it really inexpensive in any case. With the three of us we spend around 48 euro’sMy opinionWe knew we could get great food at this restaurant, because we heard from people. After we ordered our food was there quickly. On two large plates was the chicken with pineapple and chicken cubes with soy sauce and placed on the warming devices put down. The desserts were really yummy ice cream or the delicious. And were copied exactly as the pictures on the card. The only downside of it is that you must first go to an ATM because you can therefore only pay cash.
DustochThe restaurantDustoch is a small but very cozy café/restaurant, which unfortunately is a bit tucked away in the city of Middelburg. The atmosphere in the lunchroom can only be called fun. Since they renovated some time ago, they have metal menus, what makes the tables really special. It also contains various colored with red carnations in vases. Hanging from the ceiling big blue wooden "clouds" with small lights and the walls are 3-D paintings by people with mild mental disabilities themselves are made. These are also available, so if there is something in between, so you can take. The gift consists of children's clothes, wooden toys, wooden bowls, ceramics and other goodies. There are also cookies from our own bakery for sale.AtmosphereDustoch is run by people who have a mild mental handicap. Something definitely is not noticeable in the atmosphere and charm of the place. You could even say that it is pleasant. Newspapers and magazines are at different tables and can be read at ease. Many people come just to Dustoch for this special atmosphere. For the children it is very nice, because there is a special children's corner where they can block and play and if they stay at the table, they get a drawing and a box of pencils.FoodDustoch is really a lunchroom, the card is limited to things that they normally eat at lunch, sandwiches, sandwiches, soups etc. Also, there is obviously at the coffee cake, etc. The prices are very reasonable, almost even layer. Ordering goes via a map showing thestaff tick / count what you order with this card you will deal later in the gift shop. What is there to get?Sandwiches, some examples:- Soft cheese sandwich: € 2.00- Soft cheese sandwich / pineapple: € 2.20- Soft Brie sandwich: € 2.50- Cheese Baguette: € 2.60- Baguette Crab: € 4.50- Healthy Baguette: € 3.75Sandwiches, some examples:- Cheese / ham: € 2.25- Cheese / banana: € 2.50Also have various kinds of omelets and fried eggs.Pancakes, some examples:- Pancake naturel: € 3.00- Pancake bacon: € 3.50Soup (choice of soup v / d Week Soup Dustoch): € 2.75Ice:- Small: € 1.80- Medium: € 2.50- Large: € 3.20Ham / cheese flap: € 1.25Apple Flap: € 1.25Pastry: € 1.50Coffee or tea with cake: € 2.50Drinks:- Coffee: € 1.20- Tea: € 1.10- Cappuccino: € 1.40- Hot Chocolate: € 1.50- All soft drinks as cola, orange, cassis: € 1.25- Lipton Ice Tea: € 1.60My experienceAfter ordering, if necessary, a table covered with a mat and cutlery. The drink is poured and immediately brought the food late in coming, if necessary. But not for long ... We always marvel at how quickly your food is ready and the table. The service is so good.Unfortunately, the lunchroom in the not so big and around noon, on beautiful summer days it is very fast. In summer there is also an outdoor terrace where you can sit down, but sadly lacking in autumn and winter.Since Dustoch run by people who all have a limit it is suitable for disabled. Scooters can’t unfortunately go in, but wheelchairs, though. Also go to the gift shop, a wheelchair is not a problem because there is a ramp. All in all a nice and cozy Dustoch lunchroom with a limited but good card for a nice price.
Restaurant Number 7 (nummer 7)InteriorFrom the outside you already get a positive vibe and the looks very welcoming. The restaurant inside looks very nice, nice light and the interior is very nice. The tables are decorated with napkins. The tables and chairs are from wood but not uncomfortable and even after sitting for two hours I was still comfortable. The restaurant really appeals to me and felt cozy and had a good atmosphere. MenuWe found the menu very limited. There wasn’t much to choose from. You had a few selection for starters, main courses and dessert but not much. What we saw we did like so we were able to make a choice luckily! I did notice there was only one meal for vegetarians, which seems really not a lot. FoodAs a main course I had a lamb chop and my friend next to me with an endive stew sudderlapje (meat). My lamb chop was barely 2 inches wide and not too long and then there was also bone. The meat was almost with a magnifying glass to search. The friend next to me got a big white plate with the sudderlapje (meat). He said: "Hey, only my meat, the stew will still come but no. the stew was under his meat and has hardly anything. Maybe a large tablespoon full. And that was it. We got it with fries, meat and vegetables but it wasn’t that much. We didn’t go for the dessert because we simply didn’t like the selection.StaffI have to say that the staff was very pleasant and nice. From the moment we got in we got greeted and shown were we could hang up our coats. We where showed to our tables and asked for our drinks. Five minutes later all the drinks were there and she gave us a moment to think about what we wanted to eat. I think about 5 to 10 minutes later she probably noticed that we were done and she came by to take our order. I think it was about 20 minutes when the food came, so quick enough. ToiletsThe place isn’t that big and it’s quite narrow and so is the way to the toilet. You need to go up the stairs. The toilet looks neat and clean. There is no disabled toilet and the toilets are simple unreachable when you are in a wheelchair. Our experienceNot so pleasant because we were still hungry after we left. The staff and the restaurant itself is pleasant but the selection of the food is too small and the portions not big enough. It’s a shame because the meals weren’t that cheap either. No not a place were we will go back too.

Sometimes the best way of exploring a city is going on a city tour. Although it’s certainly not something I normally enjoy doing this tour sounded actually quite interesting and certainly different from all the other ones. This tour is called Mike’s Bikes and it’s the easiest way to learn the city of Amsterdam! As the name may already suggest the tour is on bike. Amsterdam is a city were almost everybody bikes. If you have never been to the Netherlands you will be surprised by how many bikes there are. Dutch people life on bikes and will leave there car behind. You will find out yourself that’s it’s the best way to travel through such a big city. With this tour you simply get a bike and go on a tour with some tour guides. The fun part is that these guides aren’t from Amsterdam so they can really relate to any tourists. Of course they have been around long enough to actually show you the city and tell you all about it.You don’t need to be a bike expert and the bikes are easy to ride. The people that joined were from all ages between 20 and 65 years old. With the bike tour you will go past all the major sites and historic places. There are plenty of breaks at little café were you can enjoy some coffee. It’s a real fun experience and a different way to explore the city!
