When going to Amsterdam and if you are a fan of beer, the Heineken Brewery is certainly something worth visiting. It only costs 10 euros to enter and we all thought it was money well spent. From the city center it’s about 20 minutes walking and when we were there, there wasn’t a large queue. I think we only had to wait for around 10 minutes before we could enter. You will be taken on a tour through the brewery and you will learn everything about the history of Heineken, how beer is made and you will also get a look of all the bottles of beer throughout the years. The whole brewery really felt like an old little village and the interior has been designed in an old fashion way. It’s not a boring tour were you only have to listen but its quiet interactive were you can play games and more. The best part of the tour we all thought was at the end were you arrive at the bar where you are able to get two free beers. The best part is that most people don’t even want to drink two beers so you will get free tokens from other people. There is really the relaxing part were you have interactive TV and booths. There is also a very expensive gift shop. It’s a really nice little tour and actually interesting to learn more about the brewery.
