A very retro hotel

From Friday to Saturday I spent one night in Hamburg at the 25 hour hotel. From the outside, the hotel is a real force and very striking. It is like a silvery-blue box that is decorated with a large logo. You can already see into the spacey reception and lobby.

Inside the place looks absolutely made out of class. It is located immediately at the reception, which looks like a small submarine. The entire hotel is decorated in retro style. In front of the reception is for example even a palm tree and a pink bicycle. In addition we find a glass box at the reception. There is also a great sitting room, a PC with internet and the room goes into the dining room, which is especially impressive and straight along is the living room where every evening a DVD movie is shown . There are some elevators that lead to a total of 5 storeys and there is a roof terrace. Everywhere on the walls are pictures in the retro style, showing in particular the atmosphere of a big city.

There are a total of 128 guest rooms, also with a cool retro style with textured wallpaper, exposed concrete and lots of bright white or in playful romantic chic with floral wallpaper, and Zebrano wood accents in red and magenta. There are smoking and Non smoking rooms.
The furniture is very stylish and the beds super comfortable. Bathroom, toilet and shower are super big and also the closet offers plenty of space. Everything was super clean, drinks are available, as well as a TV and telephone, hair dryer and a LAN connection for free internet. Something special is the heat lamp in the bathroom which gives great red light and a lot of cuddly warmth.

The breakfast was very rich: sandwiches, breads, all sorts of excerpts and spreads, fruit, fruit salad, egg, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, water, tea and milk (including lactose free or soy Milk). You can serve yourself at the buffet or can also help yourself. It was delicious and ultra comfortable.

At the hotel you could also hire bikes and enjoy the sauna and steam room at the hotel next door, which we haven’t done. I felt ultra-comfortable and had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. I think you will have to appreciate the retro style and it feels very comfortable and modern. Five stars for me!
