Niagara Falls Canada and The United States

This is a chronicle of my trips to Niagara Falls, Canada.

Very Nice and Worth the Price!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I paid close to $275 US dollars for a falls view room during 4th of July weekend which was a bargain at the time. It was well worth it and we weren’t disappointed. This hotel towers right over the falls and provides an excellent view of the falls. The room was very nicely decorated with water inspired colors and contemporary furnishings. With completely unobstructed views, we didn't want to leave our room. The window was floor to ceiling and wall to wall which provided an excellent panoramic view of the falls. The food was ok, but nothing to cheer about. However once you walk out the front door of the hotel, there are several great restaurants within walking distance. They charge a flat fee for parking which I felt was ridiculous for hotel guests to have to pay. You don't really need your car anyways in Niagara Falls. My car was parked for most of the 3 days I was there. This hotel has a great view, but it is still a considerable walk down to the falls. The hotel is perched up on top of a hill, so you need to walk down a beautifully landscaped walkway/park that runs alongside other hotels on the way down. It’s probably the furthest hotel from the falls on the west side of the city. I didn't mind the walk as it was very scenic and provided several great photo opportunities. If you want to create a memory you will never forget, this hotel is for you.
