This was probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. Our group of 4 was seated on the patio with a great view of the lake, and the night looked promising. However, we waited 90 minutes after ordering before deciding to leave. I have never had to do this to a restaurant.

It was infurating, waiting an hour and seeing people being seated after us and receiving the exact same dishes we had ordered, brought to them by our waiter.

After we started inquiring about our food our waiter stopped making eye contact. When I grabbed him and told him we were leaving he said he'd go and get the check, disappearing again. After 15 more minutes he came back somewhat apologetic saying the drinks were on him. The whole evening was stressful and threatened to ruin the end of our vacation.

The wait was so long that my hunger had passed, so we were able to make to all the way back to Sacramento for some great Indian food. I would never go back to the Beacon Bar and Grill at Camp Richardson again if you paid me.
