Some fun things to do while in Boston.

This was a wonderful place to stay that was about 20 minutes outside of Boston, but close enough to enjoy the day in the city. We had a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms. There was a great little kitchen with full size appliances, and a dishwasher too! The hotel has a nice breakfast downstairs every morning that is included in the night's stay. This is a big plus when you have a family of six and need to save money on eating out. There is a swimming pool and some basketball courts at the hotel, which kept the kids busy. I highly recommend this hotel when staying near the Boston area.
The Public Gardens Park in Boston is a really quaint place in the middle of a big city. We spent a couple hours walking around and taking one of the Swan Boat rides around the pond. There are plenty of nice benches and walking trails in the park, and in the summer the Mr. Frosty truck parks on one of the streets so you can get a treat! It's a nice little excursion that costs nothing and lets you enjoy a nice quiet section of Boston. We were there on a Saturday and it was not crowded. Being from the LA area, we are used to crowds everywhere on weekends, so this was a nice treat!
