Nature – Incredible views, semi-safe hiking trails, and intriguing “vortex” areas
Food – Excellent, check out Picazzo’s
Food servers — Will give the BEST hiking location advice (throw out tourist maps)
Allergies – Yes. Bring tissue
Fashion – Jeans are worn high above the hips and belted
Local Folk1 – New Age / Friendly / Harmless.
Local Folk2 – You will run into them more than once
Music – Liquid Theory is good, but the Old Sedona DJ spins the dance tunes
Pink Jeep Tour – Is this necessary?
Employment – Available, but current workforce comes across as unhappy
Art – The stone furniture garden at Tlaquepaque village is awesome
Indian Jewelry – Has tripled in price, bring $$$
Horseback Riding – Call in advance; strict rules and regulations${QuickSuggestions} ${BestWay}

Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa

Comfortable rooms, eclectic decor, nice amenities (spa, viewing deck). We were slightly disappointed to have our room on the first floor with a view of the parking lot, but managed to get over it. Red's restaurant on the property is good. Conveniently, there is a Starbucks inside the grocery store next door.
