Our first extended visit to Vermont was more than expected. The quaint villages and friendly people added to the great scenery we saw every day.

Smugglers' Notch Resort

Best Things Nearby:
The Notch and Stowe give you plenty to absorb in a week.

Best Things About the Resort:
A roomy dining and living area had a comfortable appeal. The stream outside provided splendid morning walks.

Resort Experience:
As a fall destination, this is a winner, with everything from grape stomping to a little climbing at the Notch. Soaring over Stowe is an unforgettable experience as well.
