South Lake Tahoe in Summer

The weather was in the upper 70s by day and low 40s at night. We enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, and snowball fights in the hills. The Stardust-Tahoe Resort is located in the perfect spot - close to casinos and shopping but also close to Tahoe's glorious greenery.

Our family enjoyed the dinner/horseback riding at Zepher Cove Stables the best during our trip. The horses were well-trained for our novice family, and the steak/chicken barbecue was great. The dinner included corn-on-the-cob, baked potatoes, salad, bread, soda, tea, and beer. The meal ended with s'mores toasted over a group camp fire and a hay ride back to the parking lot.${QuickSuggestions} The front desk can provide guests with discounted admissions to Heavenly Gondola, MS Dixie cruise, etc. The staff knew the area extremely well, so that you were really well informed about what activities were available. The resort also provides a free beach pass for the private beach area closest to the resort. The beach area had lifeguards and working facilities.${BestWay} Stardust-Tahoe Resort is located in an area where you can walk to the lake, casinos, shopping, and other activities. We rented a car for the trip. This allowed us to tour around the 72-mile strip around the lake. We also spent a night in San Francisco, which was only a 3+ hour drive.

Stardust-Tahoe is a family-run timeshare. The staff is friendly and willing to help at all times. The two-bedroom provided enough room for our family of four very comfortably. We also had two full bathrooms. The kitchette provided a apartment size fridge, which was a surprise. This resort is not fancy but provided all the essentials (two heated pools and two hot tubs with an exercise room) in a GREAT location for the area.

My husband loves Keno. This is something that we do not have in Atlantic City, so he was sure to play and won during our buffet dinner at Caesars.
