After spending a week in Riviera Maya, Mexico, for our honeymoon, we drove to South Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for a beautiful family getaway!

Best Things Nearby:The resort has an outdoor pool, indoor pool with a hot tub, and a lazy river on the property. It also owns a private beach club right across the highway called Breezes!Best Things About the Resort:It's a very family-oriented resort. It's still under construction, but you would never know it. This resort is getting nicer and bigger by the day. The staff is friendly from the moment you check in until the moment you check out. There is so much to do in the area that it will take you several trips to complete it all! Resort Experience:We are owners at this resort and love South Beach Resort. You can lie out by the pool or tan on the beach all day and then go to the Broadway-style shows at night. You don't need a car to enjoy everything, because the public transportation comes right onto the resort. The staff will even give you the bus schedule in your welcome packet when you check in. This is a must-see resort, and you will want to own here once you have stayed here!
Unit Type: 2 Bedroom
Unit Satisfaction: Excellent
Family Friendliness: Excellent
All the shows are must-sees, but this one was my favorite! If you like Broadway-style shows, you have to see the show at Alabama Theatre. It's a mix of live music and comedy performances. A fun family activity.
Alabama Theatre and Carolina Opry Shows are very similar. I liked Alabama better myself, but they are both very good and worth seeing. They both mix live music with comedy and are a good family activity.
