The place to be during "Fall Biker Week" in Myrtle Beach. You are in a quiet cul-de-sac and can be as isolated as you want and stay away from the noise & crowds that this week brings, or go just one mile to the beach and restaurants and clubs.
Enjoying the surroundings at the resort, or driving one mile to the beach. It is a clean beach area, and the private beach cabana offers lockers, showers, bathrooms, refrigerator for storing food & beverages. Watching the joy on my 16 month old grand-daughter's face for her first sitting of the ocean/beach was a very memorable moment for us. Just watching her run, with her head thrown back, arms out-spread and laughing was well worth the entire trip! You are very close to area attractions, Broadway at The Beach, Dixie Stampede, Alabama Theatre, Opry Theatre, water parks.${QuickSuggestions} If you don't want to run around for every meal, get some groceries and eat at least breakfast and lunch at the resort (which also has outdoor grills for you to use). That saves a lot of time and money. We just made plans to eat out in the evening and did several of the dinner theater shows, which were wonderful! That way, you get to enjoy either the pools or the beach areas and get into the sun instead of driving all day. ${BestWay} We chose to do our own driving so that we could go at our own pace and in our own time. The only way to travel!

Resort Experience:
It is a wonderful place to be during "Fall Biker Week" at Myrtle Beach even if you aren't into the biker-things. You feel like you are in your own secluded little world where it is so peaceful and quiet, but yet you only have to drive a mile to go shopping or to the beach, etc. The facility has all of the amenities which I require (except king-size beds!), lots of room in the condos, washer & dryer in each unit, private patios both upstairs & downstairs, walking trails and 3 ponds with fish & turtles. A wonderful place to take the family, with lots of group activities like water arobics, cook-outs, jewelry exhibits, make-overs, nature trail walks, bingo, etc.
We enjoyed our "quiet" time here so much that we purchased two additional weeks there thru the on-site "Defender Realty" group with RCI during our stay!
