Santa Fe is one hour drive from Albeq. and well worth the trip. Just the drive is enjoyable. Head to the square-- that is where the shops are and the Native Americans set up booths and sell jewelry there also. Most of them aren't even booths they just sit on a blanket and spread out their stuff.${QuickSuggestions} There are numerous winery's in New Mexico and surprisingly they are pretty good. If you see one on the way stop and taste. Most tastings are free.${BestWay} Walking.

Note the prices vary during seasons. We were in off season and it was lower.

Nice big rooms with nice bathrooms and hair dryers. I think there was a pool but we were there in Nov. Big fireplace in lobby made it cozy. Good location.
