South Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places on this earth. With California on one side with the scenery, shops, sites, etc, and Nevada on the other with the casinos, it has just about everything you want.

The Embassy is and has been known for being a great and expensive place to stay. Most people find it very hard to get a reservation there, and if they did, it's normally expensive. It's a really nice place to stay as you have everything you need either in the resort or very close to you. The location and resort seem to be a perfect fit.

Snowboarding

For snowboarders, they have everything you could possibly want (half pipe, tubes, etc). They have a race slope that is used for competions, but is open to the public when there are none going on. I thought it was brilliant. The snow was good at that time, and every time I go to Lake Tahoe, I usually end up at Sugar Bowl. It's a sweet place to go.

California South Lake Tahoe

This is for all of you nature loving people! South Lake Tahoe is a huge attraction because of laws protecting nature. It is not overpopulated with locals beacause laws prevent it, so it is one of the most preserved parts of California. They have a number of restaurants with any food you like, and they have the cutest little shops in the world.

Now on to the biggest attraction to South Lake Tahoe--the lake itself. It's huge! During the summer, you can camp on the lake, and the weather is beautiful up there. Because of preservation laws, the lake is nice and clean and extremely blue. You can hop on the ferry and go across the lake and it is the funnest thing to do with the best views of the mountains, lake, and if there is snow around, it is a stunning sight.

This is a great place to visit!
