Spanish Mediterranean Coast

We just got back from a two-week trip to the Spanish Coast. Most excellent vacation for my wife and daughter. Although, the DOLLAR isn't worth much!!

We stayed at two different sections of the resort. Marina Del Sol: one-bedroom '60s vintage. Sierra Marina: two-bedroom up to date accommodations. The timeshare at Sierra Marina was wonderful!! Daily maid service. New appliances. Walking distances: less than 10 minutes to the beach, two minutes to the pool.

Best Things Nearby:
Beach. Tours from Reception area. Zoo. Aquarium. Bus/Train trips. Castles. Museums.

Best Things About the Resort:
Very well kept. The grounds are beautiful. The people are VERY GOOD to work with. Multiple pools, so there is always one close by. Places to eat on site and pizza delivery!!

Resort Experience:
A wonderful place to stay. We took four tours into the mountains to old cities with lots of history. A short walk to the beach which was usually very calm and clean. Castles nearby. Lots of shopping nearby too. Due to the EURO, prices have shot up by about 200%, so it's very expensive. Stuff that was $3 nine years ago is now $12-$15. Taxis are pretty outrageous too. When we left, it was about $.78/Euro.
