Portland is a beautiful city. It has many lush parks throughout, and it also has a lot to offer in the way of arts, entertainment, and cuisine.

Portland is in a beautiful setting, with mountain views, waterfront areas, many fountains, and parks and green spaces. Don't miss Powell's Bookstore--it is HUGE!${QuickSuggestions} ${BestWay} Portland has a great mass-transit system. If you are flying in, the MAX light-rail system brings you right into town. Then there are plenty of bus lines to get you where you need to go.
This beautiful, historic hotel transports you back in time and surrounds you with luxury at the same time--you'll feel extremely pampered. It's right next to the performing-arts center, and it also has a lovely dining room.
I have enjoyed several plays performed by touring companies at this theater. It is a lovely theater right in downtown Portland, and across the street is a beautiful fountain. My experience has always been a positive one, with first-rate performances.
This is a restored French Renaissance mansion in the midst of a beautiful park. It was built about 1914 and is furnished with 17th- and 18th-century European and American antiques.
