3 day getaway in Las vegas

Las Vegas has really changed a lot in recent years, I think due to recent casinos across the nation. It has become more family friendly and much more of a tourist destination. It is exciting and you never run out of things to see or do!

The Bellagio is out of this world, the tribute to impressionism with a flower conservatory is breathtakingly beautiful and I am comparing it with gardens across the world. The Fountain show at Bellagio is also worth catching, and they show it every 15 to 30 minutes depending on what time of day. ${QuickSuggestions} ${BestWay} You will have to walk, a lot, there is no way to avoid it, if you want to see a lot. However, the monorails are helpful, taxis are plentiful and driving is not very difficult. Parking is available at nearly every casino.

The Terribles is a basic 3 star accomodation. It is clean and quiet with a casino that the locals visit (my mom believes this means more payoffs) and a Great breakfast buffet! Terribles is inexpensive and a Taxi to the strip is $5 to $10.

Big Clean rooms, if you do not mind motel style accomodations. Rooms open to inside courtyard, not parking lot however. Beautiful grounds, but not especially quiet with people coming and going all night. Even basic rooms come equipped with a kitchen area with a sink and refrigerator. There is a beautiful pool area, but the casino is dark and smoky.

We had French Dip sandwhiches and fries and drinks for under $10. They were great, however, one of us had a brisket sandwhich, the meat was poor quality with too much fat. The service reminded me of Paris, rude waitors complete with little french mustaches. But the food was hot and it didn't take too long or anything
