Entering the Photo Feud

Q: How do I enter IgoUgo’s Photo Feud Contest?: A: Just upload your photos to IgoUgo.com. You may select up to 10 photos per day to enter into the contest; however, you’ll earn GO Points^SM for every single photo you upload to IgoUgo.; After uploading, click "Add this photo to the Photo Feud Contest" and enter the required information to publish each photo and submit it to the contest. Please note that only photos uploaded from May 15-31 are eligible for entry.
Q: Do I have to be an IgoUgo member to enter a photo or vote in the Photo Feud Contest?: A: Yes, you must be a member to submit photos, vote in the contest, and enter for a chance to win our participation prize. Take a second to register for free, and then log in every time you want to submit a photo or vote.
Q: I’m an international IgoUgo member. May I still enter IgoUgo’s Photo Feud Contest?: A: Only US citizens who are legal residents of the continental US (except Rhode Island) are eligible to win prizes in IgoUgo’s Photo Feud Contest. However, any member may vote in the Feud, and members from all over the world can upload photos to IgoUgo and earn GO Points redeemable for great rewards.
Q: What else should I know before entering?: A: Be sure to take a look at IgoUgo's Terms and Conditions—photos submitted to the contest are subject to the same terms as all other photos uploaded to IgoUgo.com. Submitting Photos

Q: How many photos can I submit to the Feud?: A: You can submit up to 10 photos per day from May 15-31. That’s a total of 170 photos!
Q: What kinds of photos qualify for the contest?: A: As long as it’s travel-related, it qualifies. We want photos of your exotic trips and weekend getaways, your far-flung destinations and your hometown. If you’re proud of it, submit it!
Q: Can I submit a photo that I uploaded to IgoUgo prior to the start of the Feud?: A: No, only photos uploaded from May 15-31 are eligible for submission to the contest.
Q: Will I receive GO Points for photos I submit to the Feud?: A: Yes. As always, editors will review all photos and award 10 GO Points for each photo, or 25 GO Points for each outstanding photo.
Q: Do my contest photos have to be attached to an IgoUgo review or journal?: A: No, photos may be uploaded and submitted to the contest without being attached to a review, but you may attach contest photos to a review if you’d like!

Voting in the Feud

Q: Who chooses the winner?: A: You do! From June 1-15, IgoUgo members will vote for their favorite photos in a series of one-on-one battles. The photo with the most votes will win the grand prize.; Our participation prize winner will be chosen at random from all entries earned by entering photos into the contest, voting in the Feud, and submitting our free entry form.; Winners will be announced in early July.
Q: How many times can I vote?: A: You can vote as many times as you want. However, you’ll only receive 10 entries per day for the chance to win our participation prize, through voting and/or submitting our free entry form.
Q: Can I vote for my own photo?: A: Yes! You can also invite your friends and family to vote for your photos by sending them our "Tell Your Friends" email. You can start Feuding with a specific photo by clicking on it in your photo gallery.

Q: What are the prizes?: A: Please see our Contest Prizes pages for details.
Q: How can I win the participation prize?: A: There are three ways to qualify: enter a photo, vote, or submit a free entry form on the Participation Prize page. You’ll receive one entry for a chance to win the participation prize every time you enter a photo into the contest, vote for a photo, or submit our free entry form (up to 10 participation prize entries per day).
Q: Do I have to be a member to win the participation prize?: A: Yes, you must be an IgoUgo member to win prizes. Take a moment to register for free—the benefits of being a member won’t stop when IgoUgo’s Photo Feud Contest is over. Take a look at our IgoUgo Rewards to learn about what you can earn just for contributing reviews and photos to IgoUgo.
