Smallish but comfortable room. Very quiet heat/air-conditioned unit and good darkening curtains. Some, but not bothersome, highway noise. Limited breakfast choices, but there was a waffle maker. Lots of cable channels on the TV and with an accurate list of channels– saints be praised! A microwave and mini fridge wasted some precious space in the room. The light was burned out on dark stairs leading to our upstairs room. There was insufficient room lighting. By the way, if you need to brighten up a dim room, take the lamp shades off the lights.
A month later we stayed in a Quality Inn set in spectacular Zion Canyon at the entrance to Zion NP for
$60. That makes the smaller, not quite as nice a room in godforsaken central Oregon, a rip off at $90.
